ARTIST: The artistic creator of the graphic design on the product.
USER: Any person who browses or uses the Classic Car Merchandise website for any purpose. The terms ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to you, as a user of the site.
BUYER: Any person who buys products from the Classic Car Merchandise website.
PERSON: Includes any individual, any company incorporated or registered as such under any law, any body of persons corporate or incorporate, any business and any juristic entity.

This website is controlled, operated and administered by Classic Car Merchandise from our premises in Cape Town, South Africa. Classic Car Merchandise has the right, in its sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions are found by a court to be to any extent illegal, otherwise invalid or incapable of being enforced, such provision shall be excluded to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, and all other terms shall remain in full force and effect.

If Classic Car Merchandise fails to enforce any right or provision in these Terms and Conditions, such failure shall not be construed as a waiver of such right or provision or of any other rights or provisions in these Terms and Conditions.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any of the services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Site through hacking, password mining or any other means.
  • Transmit or distribute any virus or malicious material.
  • Post advertisements or links to any other websites, including social networking sites, without the express written permission from Classic Car Merchandise.
In order to contract with Classic Car Merchandise, the User must be older than 18 years of age and possess a valid credit card or debit card issued by a bank or financial institution acceptable to Classic Car Merchandise. Classic Car Merchandise has the right to request all and any information relating to the identity and age of the User.

The User warrants that all information and details supplied by the User to Classic Car Merchandise is accurate, true and correct.

The Buyer, by placing an order, offers to purchase a product on and subject to the terms and conditions set out herein. Dispatch times and delivery times vary and are dependent on and subject to postal or courier services, availability and delays.


Once the Buyer has placed an order, Classic Car Merchandise may accept or decline the order. Whether the order is accepted or declined depends receipt of payment or payment authroisation by Classic Car Merchandise. Placing products in a shopping basket without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an order for such products.


All prices are listed on the Site in ZAR South African Rands, USD United States Dollars, EUR Euros and GBP British Pounds Sterling.

The price displayed does not include customs duties and taxes.



Classic Car Merchandise accepts payment by credit card or debit card.

The purchase price of all products is billed in South African Rands.

Payments are to be made in South African Rands.

All online payments are processed by the PayFast Payment Gateway.

Users may go to www.PayFast.co.za to view PayFast's security and privacy policies.

Online payments through PayFast are processed in South African Rands. The Buyer is responsible for the calculation of currency exchange rates.

Products will only be dispatched once payment has been received by Classic Car Merchandise.
For deliveries to foreign countries or remote areas within South Africa, the Buyer is solely responsible for the payment of any customs and excise import duties and for all foreign local requirements.


Classic Car Merchandise products are printed to order (not printed in advance). Average /estimated time for fulfilment, shipping and delivery (EDT) is 3 weeks. Shipping and delivery times may vary depending on the location of the place where the delivery is to take place.

Classic Car Merchandise cannot guarantee delivery dates and to the extent permitted by law accept no responsibility, apart from advising you of any known delay, for products delivered after the estimated delivery date. Some deliveries can take longer, or may be delivered faster.

Estimated delivery time (EDT) – EDT is a prediction of when an order can be delivered to you. EDT is an estimate only. It’s not a guarantee.

How EDT is calculated - EDT is the sum of estimated fulfilment and estimated shipping time. Think fulfilment + estimated shipping = EDT.

When we calculate estimated fulfilment time, we consider the current order volume and our capacity. We calculate estimated shipping time according to our historical shipping data for deliveries to the user’s area or region.

In the event that a misprinted/damaged/defective product is delivered to the buyer, the Buyer shall contact Classic Car Merchandise immediately, send a detailed description including a photograph of the damaged item to support@classiccarmerchandise.com. The buyer agrees to first contact Classic Car Merchandise before returning any products.

All claims shall be submitted within 2 weeks from the delivery date. This refund policy applies only for a period of 2 weeks. Thereafter returns are not permissible.

Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense. Classic Car Merchandise will refund the purchase price by reversing the payment (which is the amount paid for the product) to the same nominated bank account from which the Buyer made the purchase. No third party payments will be made.


Misprinted/damaged/defective items

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted to the return address on the product packaging in the same condition as it was on receipt within 2 weeks after you’ve received the product.

Buyer’s remorse

We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse.

Size issue

We do not refund orders for incorrect sizes. Please follow our size guide (available on all individual product pages) before purchasing to ensure your item fits correctly.

Lost in transit – All lost in transit claims must be submitted no later than 2 weeks after the estimated delivery date.

Wrong address – If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our printing facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Unclaimed shipment – Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our printing facility. You will be liable for the cost of reshipment.

Notification for EU consumers: According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:

1.The supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications.

2.Sealed goods unsealed after delivery may be unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, therefore Classic Car Merchandise reserves rights to refuse returns at its sole discretion.

This Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose whatsoever.


Users of this Site will be required to provide Classic Car Merchandise with personal information relating inter alia to the User's name, postal address, physical address, telephone contact numbers and email address.

Classic Car Merchandise may collect information of the User's internet service provider and the internet address through which the User has accessed the Site, the dates and times of access to the Site, pages and links accessed. Classic Car Merchandise shall have the right to use this information for the purposes of User identification, marketing policies and the development, enhancement and accessibility of the Site.

Classic Car Merchandise will not sell or share any information provided by the User with or to any third parties other than providing delivery addresses to the courier agent and information required by the internet payment gateway in the event of a purchase.

Banking details and payment information will be used by the payment gateway service provider for the purpose of completing the transaction. All such information is protected by the standard gateway processes provided and by the internet payment gateway.
